Thank you so much for this analysis. I am raising a son, and he presently identifies as mostly conservative with some liberal values. His dad is conservative, and we live in a very conservative area. I try to talk to him in a way where I am not reactive and in a way that doesn’t create reactivity from him because I don’t want to isolate him and make him see me as Other. I think this is a video that everyone can really relate to. I also bought him the youth edition of this book, so I think your video is like a perfect introduction to why I want him to read it. I think he will find it very relatable.
