Louise Erdrich is one of my favorite authors! She wrote a children’s book series, The Birchbark House, etc. Have you read that?

That’s awesome!! I’m the same way with poetry, I struggle with being able to engage. There’s a local poet, Bao Phi, whose book “Sông I Sing” I really liked. The poems have clear rhythm which made me love it
