Magic Flag Blue: * 3 boxes blue Jello (3 oz each) * 1 envelope unflavored gelatin * 3 cups boiling water * Optional: edible glitter Blend together until gelatin is dissolved. Allow to set. ⸻ Red: * 4 boxes red Jello (3 oz each) * 1 envelope unflavored gelatin * 4 cups boiling water Blend together until gelatin is dissolved. Cut the blue Jello into 1-inch strips. Remove every other strip, leaving alternating blue stripes and empty spaces. Pour 3 tablespoons of the red mixture into each blank space between the blue strips. Allow to set in the refrigerator. ⸻ White: * ½ cup cold water * 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin * 1½ cups boiling water * 1 can sweetened condensed milk Combine the cold water with the unflavored gelatin and let it sit for 2 minutes. Add the boiling water and stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Add the sweetened condensed milk and stir until smooth. ⸻ Pour 3 tablespoons of the white mixture over the red sections. Allow to set in the refrigerator. Pour 1¼ cups of the red mixture over the entire surface of the Jello. Allow to set. Pour 1¼ cups of the white mixture over the red layer. Allow to set. Continue alternating red and white layers until all of the red and white mixtures have been used. Once the pan is complete, refrigerate for several hours or overnight until fully set. Cut into long strips, then cut at each blue section to create flag-shaped pieces. ⸻ Tips * Plan to spend about 4 hours making this recipe because each layer needs time to set. * The first layer usually takes about 1 hour to set.
