As of July 1, 2026, the NAC levy on vehicles has been reduced under the new Fiscal Policy Measures: ✅ New vehicles: 20% ➡️ 10% ✅ Used vehicles: 15% ➡️ 5% To understand the impact, I ran a sample calculation on a 2014 Lexus RX 350 with a CIF value of ₦16.8 million. The result? 📉 Customs taxes dropped from approximately ₦8.6 million to ₦6.8 million. That’s a saving of about ₦1.8 million. The big question now is: Will this reduction make vehicle importation more affordable and eventually affect the prices of direct Belgium vehicles in the market?
