200 for streaming box is fucking ridiculous. Especially since it doesn’t offer Internet browsing support. Like a native version of Safari on the box.

Have sympathy for them. All recent TVs and consoles now have decent processors that handle a good TV UI and streaming, so almost no TV needs a streaming box upgrade anymore. The only reason left to buy an Apple TV is the complete absence of ACR as a privacy feature. However, most people know how to deactivate it on their smart TVs, even though the name varies by brand. The next Apple TV will probably be the last before Apple TV is discontinued. Let it go out quietly, reasonably priced for a good Apple silicon NPU for SIRI AI.
