I’ve never watched Scary Movie but from what I’ve seen, I always found it dumb bc Scream was already a good horror parody so Scary Movie feels like “the one person that tries to make the same joke you made”

Honestly, the basic reference scenes to other horror movies I got a chuckle but yeah when they tried the "offend gen z" stuff it was terribly unfunny.

OH MY GOD THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SAYING THIS I WENT AND WATCHED WITH MY SISTER AND CRAZILY ENOUGH EVEN WITH ME UNDERSTANDING MOST REFERENCES I FELT LIKE I WAS THE PROBLEM FOR NOT FINDING IT FUNNY. Had me thinking to myself maybe my humor just matured past this or something cos I definitely remember liking the first two movies.

it was so bad😭😭 barely made me laugh and the KDH animation felt inappropriate. Like why are we introducing a kids movie and making it highly inappropriate into this. I wanted to like it a lot but it was a waste of my time
