We’ve expressly not hired someone b/c they reached out on too many platforms & sent messages to our personal emails. It’s creepy, and that’s not a good fit for our team. Work emails fine, but the rest? No.

when i was hiring for someone, a candidate emailed me with a new resume. i recognized their name because they were on the backup list because of a resume that didnt have enough info. the new resume put them on to the top of the list. otherwise emailing does nothing for me if experience is bad.
