I started counting how many weeks I had left. And I realised I wasn't ready. Not even close. If I could go back and give myself one piece of advice, it would be this: Start creating options for yourself sooner. Not because you need to replace your income. Not because you need to build some huge business. But because having options gives you choices when maternity leave starts coming to an end 🤍 That's exactly why I started learning about digital products and Canva. Simple things people can buy and instantly download. And what surprised me most was discovering I didn't need experience to get started. I started with ready-made products while I learned everything else along the way 🙌 No business background. No design skills. No huge following. Just a mum wanting a little more flexibility for her family. Fast forward to now and I've been able to extend my maternity leave, reduce my working hours and finally feel like I can breathe again🥹 So if you're pregnant or currently on maternity leave and want to start planning for this side of things sooner than I did...
