If you can’t find your kids always start in the worst areas (cars, pools, etc) and save the safer ones for last (closets, cabinets etc)

when i was little I crawled into the back of my moms car and took a nap. I woke up and looked out the window and saw all the neighbors and my parents in what today I now know is panic and went back to sleep lol

we went camping with friends a couple years ago. their 5 year old knew they were leaving that day and she got herself in her car seat—2 hours too early. we had NO idea and had the whole campground looking for her for a good 30 minutes before we found her alive and well and ready to leave. it was 90 degrees that weekend. it could’ve been bad. people never think about these things and i wouldn’t have either 😭

I guess just like household fire drills we should also have how to get out of the car drills, if my kids were little again I think this is something that I would do weekly just in case

My 2 1/2 year grandson did this 3 days ago! It was over 95 out. Thank God they realized quickly he was missing and found him. I don’t think it was even 10 minutes and he was very hot and out of it! He’s fine but terrifying

i didn't know leaving your cars unlocked was common until tiktok, mine is always locked unless getting in or out of it.
