not sure where you are but down in Australia here we see p04 something codes regularly on the gd engines with aftermarket airboxes they come and go regularly and randomly put your car in limp basically even if the company says it doesn't need a retune it sometimes still will to clear up the issue especially one changed from a panel to a pod type filter the maff sensor gets dirtier quicker also causing this issue
