I did this and my kitten started getting the runs, so now we do dry food and 1/4 can of wet food (no water). We keep her water bowl close to her bed and she drinks so much!

My cat is such a picky eater that there's such a fine line between trying to mix as much water into his food and putting a tiny bit too much water and he will refuse to eat at all 💀

my kitty won’t eat her food if i drown it in water so i had to come up with a specific way to prepare her dish to eat. i put the wet food in the center of the bowl and then put water around it like an island. then i put her liquid treat in the water so she drinks it all first before she eats her wet food in the middle! i do it every day for her

my cat refuses to drink from anything other than my glasses of water so I have to pretend to drink, put down my glass somewhere, and pretend I don't notice when she sneakily drinks from my water like a naughty little girl

This is so real, when I found out they got 70% of hydration from wet food I just started doing equal amounts of water to food ratio in the same bowl and now they both love their soup😂

If I put any extra moisture in my cats food she purposefully waits for it to dry out past the original moistness and then and only then will she eat it an that’s if she likes the wet food I put out in the first place bc if she doesn’t like it she’ll just eat the dry food 😭
