Fedora ie RedHat, which was rewritten source code changed just little ( honestly sounds like a Microsoft project) so it can be sold on the open market.. Of course Microsoft would use a source code that you have to learn all of the switches all over again.. makes me wonder if people know that ANY version of Linux can be a real server and 10,000 times more secure than Microsoft’s x86 code.

To be fair, WSL2 and Hyper-V both offer excellent support for Linux on Windows. In the past decade or two MS have done a much better job of embracing Linux and open source.

Azure Linux is enterprise. There’s no GUI it’s not a basic distro it’s specialised for cloud infrastructure. Container workloads etc. it’s optimised for this specifically it’s not them trying to compete. Large cloud enterprise etc can’t use windows it’s not designed for it. Be for real .
