@theearlynovember: Tour pranks, generally reserved for the last day of tour are all in good fun. Today’s lore takes us back to the year 2003 - where we learned that there are some bands that don’t just engage in these pranks, they end them. Here’s a video of a young @Fall Out Boy coating us in whipped cream, chocolate, jello, and many other condiments shortly before a long drive home. Now it’s worth mentioning that at this moment in time, The Early November was not only traveling with our band/crew, but also @Hidden In Plain View who’s van had crapped out earlier on the tour. Imagine a 12 passenger van with no benches… driver/passenger up front, and eleven smelly band/crew members sandwiched behind them with legs intertwined to preserve space. This is how we were traveling. Thankfully, a fan of our band offered up their home to take showers before our trek back to New Jersey. This video from @qcaudio brings back a flood of memories from the early years. A time when splurging on a hotel was reserved for special occasions. I guess being caked in condiments did not meet the criteria. If you were at this show, we’d love to hear from you. What a special time to be in our scene.
