It isn’t just common struggles here and there.. and it’s not like oh I made a bad decision and now these are consequences.. it’s stuff out of your control.. that’s how you know. And usually a lot of opposition! And feeling rejected.. but it’s not all bad because the growth is chef’s kiss but it definitely comes at a cost.

This is the hardest & realest. Since I was little, I’ve been challenged, fought so many battles and have been in survival mode. However Ive always been protected, came out wiser & stronger. It’s exhausting but enlightening.

Nah sometimes for “some reason” certain things just don’t work or I fall out with people or I really want something and it doesn’t work or go through the most heart wrenching things but somehow I always end up learning and understanding Why I had to go through that and why God protected me from a certain path.

I’ve been through enormous trauma throughout my life. Especially sexual trauma since childhood. But I don’t know how to explain it, as much evil as I experienced, there was also always a felt duality of constant good in my life. I’ve encountered many bad people, but also people who were really good to me for no reason other than them saying they saw something in me. My therapist is always shocked at how resilient I am. I’m so grateful. So it does feel like I have a protective veil somehow.
