I don't understand why peeps are so judgemental... sometimes the weather network is not always accurate or blows storms up, out of proportion. Regardless, these storms can hit so fast & hard with no warning. Coming from someone who was affected by a tornado! Be kind. My heart goes out to those who lost someone and pray they find those that are lost. 🙏💕

What kind of cottaging / boaters are you? Anyone who has lake experience can see the clouds change and feel the air. Also, should be checking the radar on the weather app before going on the water. I was at home and knew that storm was coming in 25 mins before it hit, I could feel the air and the clouds changing.

My phone was going off like crazy as well I’m in Muskoka HOWEVER it was sunny and hot all day and we had about 6 minutes of wind and light rain and it was immediately sunny again

I understand where ppl are coming from when they say "check your app" and that they had alerts all day.. but we've had a storm the other night when the chance of rain was 0% and there was no clouds on radar. meteorologists are constantly wrong and it's just getting worse and more unpredictable
