This is why I wear dresses or skirts with elastic waistbands and flowy blouses. And only own one underwire bra for specific outfits for specific occasions. Ppl think I’m so much more put together than I am. Like no pants just hurt my existence, but I still wanna look cute.

This made me cry!! Soft clothing is more important to me than style. I will occasionally dress how I like to and then I immediately strip when I walk through the door! Sometimes as I’m on the way home. “One painful day at a time” UNIFORM

It's not just a new uniform, it's always changing and it's a change in self perception. My "look" felt like a definition of me, my sweats get perceived as depression rather than comfort by doctors and those around me. So I have "dress comfort" items for public and compression garments help counteract digging seams. I've regularly described it as the princess and the pea; no matter what changes the princess will always feel the pea.

uno reverse my wardrobe is entirely dresses because I can get ones loose enough that they don't slip down or hurt my stomach ect 😭 so I look "dressed up" but really I only had to pick out one item of clothing.

absolutely. I stopped wearing denim and uncomfortable button up dress pants after my spine fusion and even with my headache now from my jaw I just want comfortable soft clothing om high pain days

I literally bought a tank top with a built in bra that turned out to be a nursing bra. I now have four and I don’t have any children. They are the only bras I can wear that don’t hurt.
