I never said you were lying. It’s your story and you can say what you want but it’s not 100% accurate. Not all PA’s are liars and not all staff adjusters are good. IA’s do make more money based on the amount of the claim but the amount being paid is what is owed by the carrier, not that they want to pay more so they can make more. IA’s estimates have to be approved by their management and SF management will also audit their work. PA’s who worked for a carrier may know a policy as good as a staff adjusters but they are knowledgeable about liberty mutual, SF, Allstate adjuster who work for that carrier. New adjusters are learning and may not know what the policy cover so let’s exclude them, but a 10 yr PA vs a 10 yr staff adjuster are not the same. No disrespect to you or what you do, just responding in to your post, claims are based on the merits of that claim, experience of a claim adjuster and contractor involved. Adjusters have to know the policy, how can you adjust a claim if you don’t know what’s covered? Again i agree some may interpret it wrong cause they just don’t know but it’s a training opportunity that leadership should step in to develop the employee.
