There are places where sleeping in your car is allowed they’re often designated for what’s called car camping. The reason the police told her she couldn’t stay there is probably because she was parked somewhere that doesn’t allow overnight parking. One of the main reasons it’s prohibited is that many businesses don’t want to be held responsible if something happens to someone on their property. Most parking lots have security cameras, so if a crime or another serious incident occurred there, the police would have to investigate, review the surveillance footage, and possibly even secure the area as part of the investigation. That can be a major inconvenience for the property owner. Another reason is that if one person is allowed to sleep there, more people will eventually start doing the same, and before long the parking lot could turn into an unofficial campground. The police also have to enforce these rules. If they knowingly allow someone to stay somewhere it’s prohibited and something bad happens, they could face complaints or even legal issues for failing to enforce the law or protect the person. That’s why many places simply don’t allow overnight sleeping in vehicles. If someone wants to do that, they should look for areas where car camping is specifically permitted.

I posted on your other video! When I was homeless I stayed at rest stops along the highway. Is that possible for you to do? I’m not sure what city you’re in, I live in Australia so maybe it’s different but I never had any issues parking at rest stops here.

You need to buy some damprid. It takes the moisture out of your car, so your car won’t start to mold as you’re living in it because of the moisture.

You should look into parks/camp grounds that you can legally park & sleep overnight. I believe there are some in your area. There’s a fee but you won’t get in trouble at least.
