Those guys are definitely annoying, and they undermine an important conversation. But even in the screenshots you showed, there were men calling out those comments and pushing back against them. I also doubt the people making those “I wish that were me” comments are the same ones arguing that female predators should be held accountable. One of the biggest problems with social media is that it amplifies the loudest and worst voices, making it easy to paint an entire group with the same brush. There are people contributing to the problem, but there are also plenty of people actively pushing back against it.
