Do people realize that the chemicals have to sit to get rid of everything… and after the recommended time it’s safe to swim in💀 and even if he were to refill it he would still need to add chemicals to keep it from turning green so fast

After all the chemicals added in, do they balance each other out or how does it work? Like I'm obviously know it's safe to swim but is what's left just pure water and chlorine or is it always gonna have the shock and other chemicals in the water?
