i play like this. Purposely getting pulled into any sidequest and complete them before moving to next main story. Often times you can pick up multiple quests during the main story.

i didnt enter riften untill level 38, guards wouldnt talk to me to tell me there a fee. couldnt find a way in so i killed them and all the other guards in riften. got like a 100,000 gold bounty there now. 🤷♂️

literally me my first playthru, i beat the Vampire King, became a Nightingale, Thieves' Guild Leader, Archmage.. it was when i was bored when i decided to finish the main quest 💀

I feel this in my soul, I'm level 97, done all the guilds and Daedric quests, own property in every hold, found all the creation club quests, but I have not done ANY of the main 3 quests 😂
