I've experienced this. I thought I was given a sedative in an IV but it was a saline flush?. I told the anesthesiologist I felt it working he tells me , nope just saline. I looked at him and said the placebo effect is real. We both laughed about it.

110 pulse isn’t that high, and 80/40 BP isn’t extraordinarily low. Anxiety can cause both. Unfortunately, ER physicians seems to believe anxiety can only cause high BP.
