@quotepulse01: (part2) My dad paid my cousin's full college tuition without being asked while refusing to give me a single penny, so I dropped out and built my own life from nothing, and when he finally called,I told him to go talk to his "other son" instead#redditstories #RelatosDeAmor #historiatiktok #HistoriasDeLaVida #TalesRush

Long story short. The cousin is the dad’s bio kid. The uncle and aunt get a divorce. Cousin moved away and cuts them off.

OK, so I have full permission to post this video and make this post because it’s something we have talked about since mom‘s open heart surgery on Wednesday. The moment we got to see her; mom was still on a drip that kept her asleep and fully vented. It was definitely an emotional few moments walking into that ICU room. When we got next to her, I immediately grabbed her hand to make sure she knew that we were there and we started talking with the ICU nurses. I was asking them a few questions about timelines and when they thought that they’d be able to take the tubes out. The biggest question we had was if she could feel us. The moment that I asked if she could feel and hear us, she slightly shook her head yes! I started crying immediately, because I knew for a fact that she was going to be OK. It wasn’t a huge doubt in our minds as we know, she’s tough as nails, and knew she would be OK but the reassurance was something that was priceless in that moment. In this video you’ll see that I wiped away a tear because as we were chatting, she started to cry. I quickly said to her “you’re crying Mom, don’t do that.” we didn’t want her to feel sadness or anything that would affect her heart rate or blood pressure. We needed her to be relaxed and wake up slowly. What happened shortly after this is the funny part! Jump ahead about 30-45 minutes from this video Shayne had gotten a ding on Mom‘s phone; which he had been handling all day while she was in surgery. We both giggled about it and said she’s the only person that could be under anesthesia during full open heart surgery still getting loan applications and or closing loans. The nurse asked us a little bit about what she did and how dedicated she was. We explained that she had an actual closing that day and was really worried about it. We had already discussed that we weren’t going to chat with her about it until we knew that she was fully awake and a couple days down the road onto recovery. We wanted her to focus on getting better and coming back to us. The moment we started to talk about the closing that happened that day, she shook her head. It was a very big YES! Shayne and I looked at each other and laughed out loud because she would be the only person in the world still under a drip to keep her asleep and on a ventilator, not breathing on her own asking about updates for a closing. I turned to her and asked her if she wanted to know about the updates of the closing and we got another big nod YES! We obviously chose to keep out all the little details on how it might’ve been going back-and-forth for the day and just told her it went well, loan was closed. This will be a story that we tell forever and ever how she was fully cut open, her heart stopped for open heart surgery, and concerned that a loan was getting closed for her customer. With all that being said, if you ever need a mortgage, she’s definitely the one for you. Even when she’s having open-heart surgery, she will put things in place to make sure that your loan gets closed and processed for you. I’ve never seen someone as dedicated as she is to her craft and let me tell you I could not be more proud!
