![Yahya b. Mu’adh رحمه الله said: “The world is worthless in the sight of its Lord yet it belongs to Him, so it is not befitting that you value it [highly], yet it does not even belong to you.” (Hilyatul Awliyah 10/57) Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen رحمه الله said: “You find that the People of the Hereafter, [those who work toward it], do not get upset about what they miss out on from this present life; if something comes to them from this present life, they take it; [but] if something escapes them, they do not get upset about it.” (Sharh Riyadus Salihin 3/48) Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen رحمه الله said: “These delights [of the worldly life] are like tranquillizers: as soon as their effect wears off, the pain returns even more severely.” [شرح الكافية الشافية 4/473] Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen رحمه الله said: “It is amazing that we are deceived by it [the worldly life] and we hold on to it despite it being filled with stress and grief more than it is filled with comfort and ease.” (Tafsir of Surah Al-Kahf p. 141) #muslimah #islam #hadith](/video/cover/7691412369997565206.webp)
