I literally have to tell myself to be brave. I have to fake it in the beginning. I do things scared but I do them. I have anxiety and self doubt. but if I can get thru the things that scared me before...I can do it again.

Omg yes this is very accurate I’m always practicing exposure therapy and doing things even when I’m uncomfortable. I think I’m utilizing the coping mechanisms that my fav therapist taught me years ago when I had really bad anxiety .

I have strange anxiety’s but yes they are not necessarily social anxiety but sometimes cross into that realm - it’s a anxiety of sorts to do with me and my interactions and my analysis of that. It’s like internal anxiety it’s internal not external- but how it affects the external…..But I have noted and named some of my anxiety’s of recently Then somewhat overcome them. At one level anxiety is a very real thing that any healthy person has . It is necessary and inherent and should be celebrated and understood more. The upside is that it signals your faculties are in that moment at reaching their functional limit. Which is totally normal at times. Most anxiety is good and healthy. When it comes to problem anxieties One must find the root cause or at least name it to begin with..then you can get on top of it …understanding his key.. they are usually ridiculous and easily overcome once understood. People would laugh at me knowing the crazy unhelpful anxieties I’ve uncovered in myself. Literally. Like I would be totally free of anxiety in a situation that would make most people super nervous - then at the same time have a debilitating anxiety over something most people would consider trivial or in comparison totally harmless or not even remotely anxiety inducing for the majority. I believe we all carry odd anxieties. We can be so courageous in one way and a mouse in another.
