I actually agree that people should be free to believe or reject any religion they choose. So are you going to stop making videos attacking Christianity? You advocate against belief in God, mock and insult Christians, then suddenly become the champion of freedom when Bible study is mentioned in schools. Let's at least be consistent. Students already study ideas they don't personally believe in, other religions, evolution, philosophy, politics, literature, and history. Studying something isn't the same as being forced to believe it. If your objection is "children shouldn't be exposed to ideas they may disagree with," then you'd have to apply that standard to the entire curriculum, not just the Bible. Freedom of religion includes the freedom to examine religious texts, not pretending they don't exist because some people object to them.

Yeah, I believe in religious liberty. This is a nation where you are free to be Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, atheist, whatever you want to be. But don’t confuse religious liberty with America not having a Christian foundation. Those are not the same thing. Go read the founders. You’d be hard-pressed to find them talking about rights, liberty, morality, law, education, or government without affirming God, Providence, Creator, divine law, or at least some higher power. Even the ones people call deists were not modern atheists. Most of them were Bible-affirming. They believed religion and morality mattered in public life. They believed the Bible belonged in schools, institutions, law, and society. I can pull up 88 quotes right now showing that. And honestly, I could probably find more. Then look at our law. Don’t murder. Don’t steal. Don’t bear false witness. Respect marriage. Protect life. Respect property. A huge part of our legal and moral framework overlaps with the Ten Commandments and Judeo-Christian ethics. And before someone runs to the Treaty of Tripoli, yes, I already know the line you’re going to quote. The 1797 English version says the government of the United States is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion. But the 1805 treaty did not have that line. And the Arabic counterpart people point to doesn’t carry that line the way the English political talking point gets thrown around today. That was diplomatic language to a Muslim power saying, “We are not a national church-state launching a Christian holy war against you.” It was not America denying its Christian foundation. Then people run to “separation of church and state.” That phrase is not in the Constitution. It comes from Jefferson’s letter to the Danbury Baptists. And ironically, that letter was written to reassure Baptists that the government was not going to force a national church on them. It was about stopping government from controlling religion. Not scrubbing Christianity out of public life. So yes, you’re free to reject Christianity. You’re free to worship something else. You’re free to believe nothing. But stop pretending America was founded as some secular atheist project.
