I got a GED to get out early. Its test you can use to finish early and it can still get you into college if you want.

dropped out my senior year. still don’t have a diploma but i have a full time and part time job and my own apartment. had a car but it fked me over so now i’m buying another one in like 3-4 weeks. u can survive w out a degree . don’t let anyone tell u u can’t.

Do people not realise if you drop out thrrr is other options…I did my 11 and 12 at tafe online which was way better for me but I guess everyone is different school isn’t everything when there is other ways to get educated

While I did not drop out, the work environment is so much better for me than a school environment ever was, I am happier and healthier working my job than I ever was in school! School certainly is not the be all and end all of life, it certainly gets better! <3 drop on of you need to no one is gonna hold that against you!

Guys, the people saying “absolutely not”, you do realize you need to be ALIVE for your highschool diploma to mean anything, right? If dropping out is what someone needs to do to get their life together and in a healthier place, then it’s better they do so instead of suffering longer. As long as someone is alive, they can do school over again once they’re better. There will be countless opportunities in life as long as you’re alive

no. highschool is quite literally the bare minimum. If you cannot handle that, you cannot handle the work force. Yes, you run your own business now, but things change and sometimes shit happens. It’s extremely important to utilize the extremely accessible education you have available to you.
