I have been to over 60 countries, more than once. 34 states in the USA and 21 in Mexico. Never once have I stayed at an all inclusive resort. I explore the country or city I visit to learn as much as possible about the city or country. You do not learn anything about a country staying at an all inclusive resort. I use to work a year and take a year off traveling. Today July 2nd is my Birthday I am 78 years old and still traveling. If you only have a year available to you I suppose an all inclusive is fine but not my way of traveling.

Im okay with being a vacationer. The last thing I want to do is be on survival mode in a foreign country. Give me the pina colada and the buffet. My biggest adventure is going downtown or the Malecon for lunch 😂
