And in the normal route ralsei also brings kris beyond an invisible wall (spikes) by pulling their hands the same way noelle does to walk into the lake past the barrier that stops them from walkig through normally. NPC's can walk through and when they take control of kris they behave like an NPC too to be able to walk through.

What if the ERAM boss takes place in the lake? Since Chap 3 is inside kris' house, so the bathroom has access to the sewage system (Might) then that sewage system dumps the water to the lake, So... Chap 6 might take place inside a Bathroom

What if the other side of the lake is just a monochrome version of Hometown, but weirder, think about it. Gaster's followers also have their own color version, and when we leave Hometown, we see how the lake gradually changes color to gray.
