I'm fine if they want this to be a red card. However, they need to keep these cards consistent for everyone. Messi should absolutely have gotten a card then and others who have done similar things this tournament should have. Be consistent or take the card back.

“It’s not clearly wrong by the referee.” But literally every single expert, player, referee, true fan of the game, that I’ve heard has said it’s not a red card. I don’t know the intricacies of this sport; but what I do know is if everyone who knows the game is saying this isn’t a red card, it seems clear to me that it is indeed “clearly wrong” by the referee! Am I wrong?

Mind you, the on field ruling was not even a foul, yet that VAR was paid off by UEFA to give a random red (the first card of the game) when Bosnia had numerous yellows not called
