i told a guy who canceled a first date “no worries” because genuinely i was not worried lol i didn’t want to go out that night anyway. when we went on the make-up date a few days later, he spent like 5 minutes talking about how “chill” i was and i didn’t like that lmaoo

I say “At this point, we’ve have had time to plan something. I am no longer interested.” And then if they make an excuse saying work or something. I say “I understand. I would rather have you put your time into what you’re focusing instead of it taking up both of our time.” Lol it works like a charm every time

My life experience has taught me to be OK with people canceling at the last minute. It’s nothing worse than somebody coming along and they feel resentful or that they are owed SOMETHING for showing up when they didn’t want to.
