Actually it’s the opposite… the more you consume it. The worse your body & brain functions. The best source of protein on the planet is a microalgae / plant called spirulina.

👊 Intermittent Phisting 👊 :
The theory that human brains grew by accessing nutrient-dense bone marrow—often linked to the Expensive Tissue Hypothesis—is a key concept in anthropology.
Early hominins likely used stone tools to exploit marrow, a high-fat fuel source inaccessible to most predators. Because the brain is metabolically expensive, this calorie-dense diet provided the energy necessary for growth. The Expensive Tissue Hypothesis suggests that as our diet improved, our gut became smaller and more efficient, allowing the energy saved from digestion to be reallocated to power a larger, more complex brain.
While this diet was a critical evolutionary catalyst, modern research views it as part of a broader shift. Factors like the mastery of fire, which increased nutrient bioavailability, and the potential consumption of omega-3-rich aquatic foods likely worked in tandem to overcome the metabolic limitations that constrain other primates.

Crock of shift - pros and cons to everything. Nutrient density from animal products provide a high source of B12, DHA, EPA and iron. Lack of this can facilitate mood swings and fatigue as well as cognitive decline. BUT a Proper vegetarian diet keeps inflammation down and helps cognitive health. Helps in cardio vascular health - meat is the opposite. Veg diet also lowers risk of neurodegenerative issues like Alzheimer’s disease ….
