Yes correct. Interceptive orthodontics at a young age to control jaw grow and tooth position. Treatment then continues when all adult teeth are present. Children’s teeth/bone are much more receptive the younger they are. Unfortunately NHS does not cover this for everyone due to cost involved, and it’s primarily a private treatment option. Also UK children have poor oral health making many not suitable for this type of treatment at a young age

In the uk we don’t take wisdom teeth out either, so I had braces teeth were straight and lovely. Wisdom teeth came and they’ve moved all the teeth again. 🙈

This is the correct way for sure.. both my children had to get 4 teeth out each for their braces.. this was the total wrong thing to do. Both should have palet expanders. Also widening the palet - helps with jaw growth and good breathing etc. I wish more people knew of this. Xxx
