@mamaaa9204: She killed seven men. She said they showed her no mercy. But the court saw her as one of America’s most notorious serial killers. This is the story of Aileen Wuornos. Aileen was born in 1956. From the very beginning, her life was filled with abuse, neglect, and instability. As an adult, she spent years living on the streets and eventually worked as a sex worker in Florida. Then, between 1989 and 1990, seven men were found shot to death after crossing paths with her. When police arrested Aileen, she admitted to the shootings. But she claimed she acted in self-defense, saying the men had attacked or tried to assault her. Investigators examined each case separately. After reviewing the evidence, juries rejected her self-defense claims, and she was convicted of multiple murders. She was sentenced to death. On October 9, 2002, Aileen Wuornos was executed by lethal injection. Even today, her case remains one of the most debated in American criminal history. Some see her as a cold-blooded serial killer. Others believe her traumatic past helps explain, though not excuse, what happened. One thing is certain. The story of Aileen Wuornos continues to divide opinions more than two decades later. #timmclean #crimes #TrueCrime #crime
