Hey mate, I think the way to look at is the indigenous aboriginal were here first but the first settlers built a foundation in Australia with law of the lan̈d and economics so don't look at settlers as immigrants more like builders and look at current immigrants as additions to an already established colony. The settlers did all the hard work creating a country and immigrants are arriving to the party late with minimal contributions when arriving. balanced migration is key to success not a flood gate opening hoping for the best.
