Well, nagato was sabotaged. It was hit by one nuclear bomb but didnt sink, so the US put seamines all over nagatos hull and put the Nagato closer to the nuclear bomb explosion. It still didnt sink but had a little tilt. On one silent night, 30th july 1946, it sank silently without anyone seeing it.
