@foodsfortwo: Elevated British Restaurant in Sydney!🍷🥩🇬🇧 Finally getting around to sharing our dinner at The James, a new British dining room in Sydney known for their tableside beef Wellington!🌟 We took Matt’s parents here in May as a lovely final meal on their last night visiting from the UK - the ambiance and service were impeccable (the restaurant is inside The Langham, so it’s definitely an elevated experience), and the food was a great sampling of the more sophisticated side of British cuisine (sadly no beans on toast in sight)🇬🇧 Highlights included the dreamiest mashed potatoes and fantastic dessert selection - we did enjoy the beef Wellington, but were a bit disappointed by the relatively small amount of meat inside compared to the mushroom filling and surrounding pastry, although the bites we did have were delicious🥩 Definitely worthwhile for an elevated Sydney dinner experience!🌟 This is 📍The James in Millers Point! #sydneydinner #beefwellington #englishinsydney #thejamessydney #sydneybritishfood
