@wheres.loz: Before you visit Iceland, read this 🇮🇸 Iceland is one of the easiest countries to road trip... but there are a few things I wish I knew before I went. Things to know 👇 🚐 Rent a campervan if you can. It’s the easiest way to explore the Ring Road - we went with Happy Campers ⛽ Never let your fuel get too low. Petrol stations can be few and far between. 🌦️ Pack layers. You can experience all four seasons in one day. 💨 Iceland gets VERY windy. Always hold onto your car door when opening it. 💳 Most places are card only, so you don’t really need cash. 📱 Download your maps before you arrive, especially if you’re heading into more remote areas. 📍 Don’t skip the east coast. Some of my favourite places, including Stuðlagil Canyon and Borgarfjörður Eystri, were there. 🗓️ Give yourself at least a week to drive the Ring Road. Save this for your Iceland roadtrip 🚗
