In the previous video, we completed full diagnosis and inspection of the engine components. • After disassembly, it became clear that major repairs were necessary. Inspection revealed damage in the upper engine section, so new camshafts, a new camshaft carrier, and a complete timing chain kit were ordered. • In this video, we begin engine reassembly and start installing all new components. The first step is installing the new camshaft carrier followed by installation of the new camshafts. • The next major step is rebuilding the entire timing chain system. This engine uses a complex timing drive system consisting of multiple chains, guides, tensioners, dampers, and several interconnected drive components. • During the repair, the entire timing system is replaced with brand new parts.
