@keyswithmaurice: I used beef tallow tonight for the first time. Used it for my steak 🥩 —a brand called LeRoy’s Rocky Mountain out of Utah! It has a high smoke point, great for searing, and a simple cooking fat if you want an alternative to traditional oils. It didn’t set my smoke alarm off…so that’s always a plus. Lol I’m excited to use it for something else soon. I saw a girl in a cooking competition on Netflix use it in desserts. 😲🫠😳 I read somewhere that I could put a thin coating onto my steak then put the seasoning.
