I like to call this a circumstancial Mary Sue and it's getting more common in Fantasy books too. basically a character who does have flaws, but they're never put in a situation where these flaws lead to negative consequences. or their flaws are "job interview flaws": "I'm too perfectionist." "I'm just too stubborn and won't give up" 🤣
