At some point, everyone has a breaking point I don’t blame them because if I can’t settle a child and I’ve done everything I possibly can. They’re going back to Momma cause I’m not gonna sit here and deal with screaming all day.

I had offered to help with nightshifts with my grandbaby before she was born. So from day 1 I spent 3 nights a week up all night with her. She is used to grammy comforting her and loves when she gets to spend the night with me.

This happened with my youngest one time. My parents tried everything to get him settled down but he just wasn’t having it. They brought him to me and as soon as he saw me he stopped crying. I don’t blame them for wanting to get him back to his parents so they can get some peace and the child can settle down. Not a big deal. Shit happens.

listen obviously these grandparents don't get to see their grandkids cuz me my kids are in check absolutely I give them attention I looked them in the eyes I'll let them know their feelings are valid I read to them I potty train them I teach you how to tie their shoes all these little things some grandparents don't do none of that... so let's take a look at whether or not they tried to do the right thing with these kids. I bet not either that or the parents are lazy and I can admit my son and his girl are lazy however when my grandkids come over they know what's up with Grandma and we never have a problem and I would love to stay with them have them stay with me for the rest of my life if possible I wish I could absolutely!! cuz I know all the attention and power of love and the stuff that I teach them will call them to be remarkable individuals in the future they'll be able to take care of themselves to make wise decisions and reproductive and not lazy absolutely recognize that

When I kept my granddaughter, so her parents could go on a date I had to call damn because she would not stop crying. I tried everything but all she wanted was her mom. Sometimes that is just what you have to do.

I’ve fostered for over a decade. Took in one baby then a year later her sister. I always looked young for my age by a lot but after 3 years those bags hit hard

Shiiiii my parents won’t even keep my kids except once every three months so we can have a date and I have to pay $300 haha 😂

My almost 9 year-old grandson used to do this when he was younger and his mom and I made an agreement if he wants his mom he can go home. It’s not punishing anybody. They just want their mama because they love their mamas.
