I made a +$10k mistake on parts. it's costed 2 Saturdays of OT and less than peak permance on production equipment. When all was said and done, I asked my manager why he was being so cool about it. I told me that there was nothing he could say or do cause he knew nobody was going to beat me up harder than I would. That was 20 years ago and it stays with me still to this day.
