I experience this for 2 years nightly. Setting his alarm on the weekend and not needing to get up, constantly touching me or hit me in the face trying to turn off his alarm that was on the other side of him. I worked overnight in the ICU. On top of having to work 60 hour weeks because he couldn’t maintain employment, he would sit on the bed while I slept and shake it to make sure I never really felt rested. He hated me but refused to give up the comforts my work provided.

mine would "go to bed" at the same time as me, play video games loudly, watch movies and react loudly, or aggressively Jack it next to me and wake me up. when I would be annoyed for being woken up, bc I worked and he did not, he'd get so mean. I'm so glad I'm finally free 🥰

threw water on me of i did fall asleep to argue about bullish he "found" in my phone. hed wake me just after me and his infant would be asleep and whine and be mad I chose our daughter over him.this escalated to locking cabinets and fridge coupled with sleep deprivation made me skinny enough made me unable to defend myself (also got rid of my dog) and he could beat me

My abusive ex would turn all the lights on, turn a tv on crazy loud in the middle of the night and prevent me from sleeping if I refused sex. I wasn’t allowed to sleep until I gave him what he wanted. He would also SA me when I was trying to sleep, choked me when I told him no, and have crying fits so bad snot would run down his face if I told him no. It got the point that I knew I couldn’t say no without being punished for days or weeks at a time. This is the same man who tried to get me pregnant to “make sure [I] was never free of [him].”

I was already super sleep deprived due to being post partum, and he would do this on nights I said no to him because I was EXHAUSTED. Pulling my toes, ripping the blankets off me, shaking the bed, poking me, shining his phone flashlight in my face while I was asleep, waking the baby up on purpose. It's disgusting behavior.

He would snore extremely loud and i could not sleep all night, i had to call in sick to work since I did not sleep and when he woke up i started crying when i told him his snoring was unbearable and caused me to miss sleep and miss work and he said stone cold “I don’t snore. No one has ever complained that I snore” and continued to insist he didn’t snore all day. We broke up after this.

mine would sleep hours before I did. After I do all the bedtime with our 3 kids, then any chores, I would try to go to sleep. He would be up, refreshed and demanded that I be up as well
