What gets me about phf (alot of things get me about phf that story ruins me on a daily basis) is that even after fugo proves himself and rejoin the gang with giornos blessings, they never show mista reaction or if his persption on fugo has changed or not and that just hurts since it clear that fugo cared so much about everyone OH MY GOD😭😭😭

Tbh it's not hate exactly, it's survivor's guilt and Mista is coping with his grief through anger directed towards Fugo. If it makes you feel better, he also strongly disliked Giorno to the extent of pointing his g*n at him, the only person that Mista never blamed was Trish.

I tried to read PHF but got So mad at Fugo and Mista and how out of character they felt to me. I feel as though Mista would not hate Fugo for leaving, as Bruno kept it clear that it was their decision. Bruno was very big on keeping the gangs autonomy and letting them be who they want and do what they want. I feel like Mista calling Fugo a traitor would be indirectly going against Bruno, which is why I feel as though he wouldnt do that. would he be upset? probably. but to go as far as being hate? no. then I kept getting irritated with Fugo bc he is not a pushover. Even in his lowest without anyone we see him not being a pushover... I also dont like the subtle misogyny in it as well. Fugo says he held no respect for woman in an earlier line, which got under my skin. it makes zero sense for him to dislike women bc of his mom when his abuser was a man and his dad was just as bad (he was even going to kill his dad). I hate how he breaks out of that view bc of Sheila as if pushing the narrative that "Oh bc i have a connection to a girl im not misogynistic anymore" as if you need to have empathy or compassion towards a group of people only if u have a relationship with them. idk just my take tbh
