Finland is indeed an expensive country, like many other nordic countries. but that particular shop is also pricey, and it carries a lot of products from small businesses. On top of that, not only are those sodas foreign brands, but we also have a soft drink tax.

There was a tax increase for drinks a few months ago. Highest one was +.35€/L and that applies to high sugar drinks like juiced monsters. 5 years ago a white monster was 1.95€ now its 2.45€.

The price depends on the location of the market as well. For example the same tiramisu dessert at K-Supermarket Ainoa costs around the same price in your video while in Sello Citymarket it costs 4,99€

As a Finnish person, yes it’s ridiculously expensive here, but you’re also in the most expensive food store😁 always go for Lidl or Prisma

I’m Finnish and I’ve lived abroad and travelled to many places and YES Finland is super expensive. Especially the last few years. This year I’ve been shocked every time I so grocery shopping, because I compare prices, look at the price per kilogram and still every time the end amount shocks 😅😭
