Easy Flaxseed Stew with Berbere! A delicious, flavorful, and comforting dish that’s perfect served with warm injera! 😋❤️ 📝 Ingredients: • 1 medium onion, chopped • 2 cloves garlic, minced • 3 tbsp oil • 1 small tomato, diced • 1 tbsp berbere (Barbara) spice 🌶️ • ½ tsp black pepper • Salt, to taste • 3–4 cups warm water • 3 tbsp ground flaxseed • 1 chili pepper 🌶️ 👩🏽‍🍳 Directions: Sauté the onion in oil until softened. Add the garlic and tomato and cook until the tomato softens. Add the berbere spice, black pepper, salt, and chili pepper. Stir well and cook for a few minutes to bring out the flavors. Add the warm water and bring to a simmer. Slowly stir in the ground flaxseed and cook until the stew thickens to your desired consistency.
