I’ve got that genetic truth serum😤 I always feel the need to share every detail, bit of context, and stipulation when talking. It’s like ignoring these details is dishonest AND im so much more likely to be misunderstood. Also I LOVE specificity and really struggle with vagueness. I think I’ve ruined at least a dozen cute moments with my partner by resorting to factual accuracy rather than getting absorbed in the moment While anyone may relate to this communication style, such as people who have experienced trauma, this is something I see as part of my autistic experience: clear, direct, factual communication that sometimes steps outside of social norms.
