emphasis on ppl don’t have enough fear about rabies!! prions and rabies are my two biggest fears so i do not play about rabies😅 hell even i’m vaxxed for rabies!! the only pet i have who’s obd enough to be vaxxed for rabies but isn’t is my foster who’s unable to be vaxxed for anything due to imha and even then, he would be vaxxed immediately if my vet ever deemed it safe to vax him

I used to be terrified to vaccinate my pets after my dog has a bad reaction many years ago and the vet I see now who I love and trust completely explained everything why that happened to my dog why it's super unlikely to happen to my cat and why it's important and my cat is fully vaccinated but originally I wasn't vaccinating at all......thank you for this video it's very important 💕

I’m just going to trust that my vet decided to go into over $100k so he could help animals live longer, happier, healthier lives and not so he could cause harm to them instead. If he says to give a vaccine, I’m going to listen. If he tells me to go here, I’m going here.

Whenever someone brings up the rabies titer discussion, I point out that when vaccinated people are bitten, they still boost us if our titer is good. They just boost 2x vs 5x and don't give immunoglobulin as well.

had a guy at my clinic who wanted to board his dog there but we required the rabies vaccine (by law in my state) for everyone’s safety. guy asked myself and the dr if it had nanomites in it… we just looked at each other, and to this day i still don’t know what he was talking about
