Not totally agreeing with this one. Traditionally someone plans a baby shower for you and a gracious person doesn’t try to manage it.

This happened with my bridal shower that I didn't even want. Plus she invited a ton of people my husband & I didn't know who weren't even invited to the wedding.

My MIL planned my baby shower, the theme color was sage green, my fave color and when she was ordering the cupcakes, she was telling my husband “I’m ordering them blue because it’s a boy” and my husband said no it needs to match with the theme color. 🤣

I planned my own babyshower. I wanted my bf to do it but saw he wasn't doing anything so I just did it myself even made the snacks myself. It was a nice day but very hard as I had to host it too but he helped with sharing the snacks and stuff. it was a longgg exhausted day but I enjoyed it

my sister planned my baby shower after extensively talking to me about what I wanted. I just didn't have to be involved in execution or purchasing or specific details. it was great

sounds like a nightmare like mine was. if we ever have another one, I just might plan it myself. I learned not to let my mil plan anything the hard way. The gender reveal wasn't bad but the baby shower on the other hand....

My MIL is mad I am doing a “a boo is almost due” in October bc it “goes against her beliefs” and she “knows I love horror” and “she has to stand on her” asked us to change it when she’s not paying, asked us to also change the date to accommodate only her and not me and my family. So we opted to not tell her anything else😊
